MY STORY

This is what I would say about myself, if we met for the first time:

• I am a millennial born in the year Lionel Ritchie's top song was "Say you, say me" (1986 – you're welcome 😆).

• I have a degree in psychology and a master's degree in family, couple and child assessment, diagnosis and psychotherapy.

• My career has revolved around marketing for the last 15 years. I have worked with both large and small companies (local and international) as well as agencies - in short, brand communication has been my life. Now, I run my own branding and communication agency - Poarta9 - together with my business, life and entertainment partner, Andrei.

• I love to write and have had a series of blogs over the years, where I talked about topics that piqued my interest - psychology, spirituality or the challenges of the dating world. All fueled by sarcasm and self-irony. Now, you can find me mostly on Substack.

• For years, I struggled with anxiety, which often translated into panic attacks, insomnia, claustrophobia, and somatic symptoms. Yes, classic millennial, I know. That is, until I discovered Joe Dispenza’s books and started practicing his meditations.

• My favorite object in my house (aside from my tarot decks, OBVIOUSLY – she said in Snape’s voice) is my Friends quote poster.

• I played online poker for over 13 years – the special chemistry with cards of all kinds has always existed, it seems.

• For astrology enthusiasts: I have the sun in Scorpio, moon in Pisces, and the ascendant in Sagittarius.

My passion for Tarot started as a hobby (like most of my obsessions, by the way 😆). One of my former bosses showed me a tarot deck a few years ago and I instantly fell in love. I started reading dozens of books on the subject, watched hundreds of hours of videos of other tarot readers, and practiced every day, all the while keeping a record of all my readings so I could improve my accuracy.

Then, I started practicing on my friends and deepened my knowledge of how tarot works. Over time, people outside my network started contacting me for tarot sessions. What was impressive to me at the time was that they repeatedly confirmed that the messages I was sending matched perfectly with what was happening to them. In addition to that, they were given the same insights in Theta healing sessions, in counseling/therapy sessions, or by their astrologers. And this happened even when I held sessions without information about the people or situations they were asking about.

Since I myself am a skeptical person (I am a strategist at heart, after all – I question everything), I wanted to test the accuracy of my sessions even more. I took about 300 recordings of my readings and checked how many of them were confirmed. The result: an accuracy of 93%, this including my absolute beginner stage (Now, after years of growing, the percentage is near 100%).

At that moment, I said to myself – well, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

And so Tarotwist was born 😊
